Perhaps the most obvious difference between the left thigh pocket and the right thigh pocket was that the former was notably taller; while the chest pockets were symmetrical in shape (but not design), the left thigh pocket was not the same height as the right thigh pocket.
The actual amount by which the left thigh pocket was taller varied a bit, which would probably surprise you if you haven't read a word of this analysis and only randomly turned/scrolled to this page.
That said, the left thigh pocket appeared to be 1 ½" to 2 ½" taller than the right thigh pocket, as evidenced by the following examples.
Hoshi's left thigh pocket appeared to be about 1 ½" taller than her right thigh pocket:

Archer's and Trip's, though, were the most notably taller; their left thigh pockets appeared to be about 2 ½" taller than their right thigh pockets:
