The other major difference between the left and right thigh pockets was that the left thigh pocket had two vertical zippers (rather than just one, like the right thigh pocket) - one at the front of the pocket, and one at the back.
The front zipper was noticeably taller than the back one.

Also note that on the men's ENT jumpsuits, the pocket was rectangular and the vertical zippers were parallel to the pocket edges (see previous examples).
However, on the ladies' ENT jumpsuits, the two zippers were slightly angled, clearly indicating that the pocket had more of a trapezoidal shape (and Hoshi's back zipper in the second example below wasn't even parallel to the back edge of the pocket).

As you've probably (hopefully?) come to expect by now, the left thigh pocket zippers varied not only in placement and height, but also in their relationships to each other (i.e. it's not like the back zipper was always [x] shorter than the front one).
So let's take a look at these two zippers ...

"Here we go again." |
Before diving into the separate zippers' specific placement variations, we will point out that like top edges of both zippers was, like that of the
right thigh pocket and the
left chest pocket, nearly always about ⅛" to ¼" beneath the row of topstitching ¼" beneath the top of the pocket (i.e. the top of the zippers were usually ½" below the top of the pocket).

That said, there were odd little variations on this "standard," such as the following examples; note that on one of Hoshi's ENT jumpsuits (pictured below), the top of the back zipper was a bit lower than the front one - ¾" from the top of the pocket, perhaps?
|

There was also an ENT jumpsuit in which the reverse was true; the front zipper was lower (and pretty low, at that - perhaps ¾" to 1")!

There was also this guy's ENT jumpsuit; note that his left thigh pocket's back zipper was about ¼" to ⅜" beneath the top of the pocket, but the front zipper was more like ⅝":

Nevertheless, we consider these to be anomalies and are comfortable saying the "standard" appeared to be for the top of the zippers to be about ½" beneath the top edge of the pocket.
That said, the remaining relative positions (and heights) of the zippers varied. (Varied more, that is.)
We'll look at the front zipper first.
